PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector apparatus which is portable and can incorporate a large quantity of image data. SOLUTION: In the projector apparatus, an external cabinet 2 formed in a portable shape is provided, a projector lens 3 is provided at one end face of the external cabinet 2 and a liquid crystal display is provided inside the projector lens 3. Further a slot for loading a memory card 40 is provided at another end face of the external cabinet. Image data stored in the memory card 40 are decoded by an image data processing section, and an image based on the decoded image data is displayed on the liquid crystal display. A light source housed in the external cabinet 2 irradiates the liquid crystal display, the projector lens 3 expands and projects light transmitted through the liquid crystal display.
