PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solvent extraction method for simply taking out an organic solvent to which a substance to be extracted is moved. SOLUTION: This solvent extraction method includes a step 4 (S4) for stirring a water layer containing the substance to be extracted and the organic solvent of which the specific gravity is higher than that of the water layer and the melting point is higher than that of the liquid constituting the water layer and steps (S5 and S6) for centrifugally separating the stirred liquid under a temperature condition which solidifies the organic solvent but keeps the liquid constituting the water layer liquid. By this constitution, the organic solvent to which the substance to be extracted is moved is easily taken out as a solid. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
