PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pot assembly under induction heating and a process for its production. SOLUTION: The induction heating cooking pot assembly has an inner pot with numerous projections partially located on its outside and holes holding the projections and a magnetizable metallic cap at least partially compressed on the outside of the inner pot. The process for its production is composed of (a) formation of the inner pot with a cooking space and an opening in the pot and the upper part of pot, respectively, (b) formation of a shape at least partially corresponding to the outside of the inner pot and the cap having numerous holes, (c) a preheating step of the inner pot and the cap at a predetermined temperature, and (d) a compression step of the inner pot and the cap at elevated temperatures.
