METHOD FOR ENROLLING/SUB-ENROLLING DRM SERVER INTO DRM SERVER NETWORK

PURPOSE: A method for enrolling/sub-enrolling a DRM(Digital Right Management) server into a DRM server network is provided to limit a use or license period matched with provision/use of contents within an organization by applying a DRM system to digital content publishing in the organization such as an office or a company. CONSTITUTION: A DRM-E server obtains a public/private key pair for recognizing the DRM-E server in the DRM system(1403). The DRM-E server obtains a proffering ID. The DRM-E server transmits an enrollment request including the proffering ID to a DRM-R server(1409). The DRM-R server validates the proffering ID(1411). If the request is accepted, the DRM-R server generates a digital enrollment certificate for enrolling the DRM-E server to the DRM system(1415). The DRM-R server returns the enrollment certificate to the DRM-E server(1417). The DRM-E server stores the enrollment certificate in a proper position for a future use(1419).
