PURPOSE: A system and a method for monitoring a student studying abroad are provided to efficiently monitor the student studying abroad by transmitting various check information for the student studying abroad received from the corresponding student studying abroad and a local information provider to a parent. CONSTITUTION: A parent terminal(10) receives the check information for a child studying abroad by connecting to the Internet(18). A local student monitor terminal(12) inputs the counseling information and the check information for the student studying abroad. A student studying abroad terminal(14) inputs the daily life transmitted to the parent and communicates with the parent terminal through the Internet. A home provider terminal(16) inputs the check information for the student studying abroad lived in home. A database(20) classifies/stores the information inputted from each terminal. An operator server(22) classifies/stores the registration information from each terminal in the database, transmits the check information received from each terminal to the parent terminal, and transmits a reply from the parent terminal to the home provider terminal.
