PURPOSE: A corrosion measuring system for a metal is provided to precisely evaluate corrosion degree of metal by detecting absorption rate/reflection rate of UV light radiated into an eroded surface of an object to be measured. CONSTITUTION: A corrosion measuring system includes a CCD camera(102) for checking a measuring position by scanning a corroded surface of an object(101). A UV generator(103) is provided to radiate UV light onto the eroded surface of the object(101). A detector(104) is provided to detect light reflected from the object(101). An analyzer(105) is connected to the detector(104) so as to analyze a signal of light detected by the detector(104). An integrator(106) is connected to the analyzer(105) for calculating total absorption rate of light. A computer stores the value of total absorption rate of light as a data file or represents the value of total absorption rate of light as an image graph.
