PURPOSE: An apparatus for buffering electric field of a bus of a switchboard is provided to reduce an area of the switchboard by maintaining the insulating capacity and reducing the insulating length. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for buffering electric field of a bus of a switchboard includes a connection terminal(3), a bus booth bar(4), and an electric field buffering portion(10). The connection terminal(3) is formed at one side of a load breaker switch. The bus booth bar(4) is connected to a connection terminal of the load breaker switch in order to supply the external power. The electric field buffering portion(10) is installed at a coupling portion between the connection terminal(3) and the bus booth bar(4) in order to buffer the electric field. A fixing groove(11) is formed at a center portion of the electric field buffering portion(10). A fixing bolt(5) is coupled to a female screw portion of the connection terminal(3) through the fixing groove(11). An insulating portion(12) is formed at the coupling portion between the connection terminal(3) and the bus booth bar(4).
