Plate heat exchanger comprises a heat exchanger block (1a, 1b) with a number of heat exchanger passages. A header (6a, 6b, 7a, 7b) extending over at least one part of one side of the heat exchanger block is attached to the heat exchanger block. The header forms a flow connection between one part of the heat exchanger passages and is provided with a fluid connection (12, 13) arranged perpendicularly to the side of the heat exchanger block over which the header extends. Devices for guiding the flow of fluid entering or leaving via the fluid connection are provided within the header. Preferred Features: The header has a semicircular cross-section.
