摘要 <p>Tension and damping element for synchronous belt drives is arranged between a load strand (4) and a return strand (5) as an annular element elastically deformable between a concentric shape and an elliptical shape. The element acts constantly on both strands with identical diametrically oriented tensile force and identical damping. A rotationally elastic cage with the geometric shape of a cylinder consists of toothed webs (3) which pivot about their longitudinal axis in the transitions (7a, 7b) of the working rings in a division corresponding to the shape of the synchronous belt drive between two elastic working rings (1, 2) having identical resistance to bending parallel to the axis of rotation and radially on the inner side of the neutral bending fiber (6) of the working rings integrated running. The toothed webs have a width that is shorter than the gap width between the teeth of the synchronous belt at its maximal curvature in the return strand. Preferred Features: The tip circle surrounding the toothed webs is equal to or greater than the outer casing circle of the working rings. The transition between the working rings and the toothed webs have a smaller cross-section than the toothed webs.</p>
