PURPOSE: A memory unit and a memory/hub unit assembly are provided to prevent the leakage of the important information by installing a security device using a fingerprint recognizer to the memory unit. CONSTITUTION: A memory unit main body(11) includes a memory(13) for storing data at the inside and a port(15) for inputting/outputting the data between an external device and the memory at the outside. The fingerprint recognizer(17) recognizes a fingerprint by being exposed to the outside of the memory unit main body. A controller(19) selectively restricts the data input/output from the memory by comparing the fingerprint data recognized from the fingerprint recognizer with the preset data. The fingerprint recognition part includes a fingerprint receiving part and a fingerprint recognition sensor.
