Racket (1) comprises a frame having a head region (3) for receiving strings and a grip section for holding the racket. The frame has in at least two segments (17) of the head region several reinforcing elements (15) running perpendicularly to the frame. An independent claim is also included for the production of the above ball game racket. Preferred Features: The reinforcing elements are provided in four segments arranged a distance apart. The racket has 3-5 reinforcing elements per segment. The reinforcing elements and the frame are made of the same or different material.
