PURPOSE: Provided is a kimchi refrigerator having a door of a kimchi storage container where a space portion is outwardly formed to receive gas and kimchi juice generated from the kimchi stored in the kimchi storage container. The kimchi refrigerator detects the acidity of the kimchi juice by a sensor unit attached within the space and precisely controls kimchi aging. CONSTITUTION: The kimchi refrigerator is characterized in that a space portion(55) for receiving gas and kimchi juice is formed at a door of a kimchi storage container(50) for receiving kimchi in a kimchi storage chamber. The space portion receives gas and kimchi juice generated from the kimchi stored in the kimchi storage container. A sensor unit(60) containing a acidity-sensing sensor and an apparatus for sending the value sensed from the sensor in a wireless signal are installed within the space portion. Wireless signal sensing portions(41,42) are formed inside the door(20) or the wall of a storage chamber(30).
