PURPOSE: A method for supplying an Internet-based voice service in a mobile communication system and a method therefor are provided to perform an authentication process for a calling terminal by using an ID and a password, and to change a subscriber state of the calling terminal online, thereby supplying an Internet-based voice service. CONSTITUTION: A UA(User Agent)(10) transmits a register message to a proxy server(30)(110). The proxy server(30) performs a register procedure, and transmits information including a predetermined service server address to the UA(10)(115). The UA(10) transmits information including an ID and a password to the service server address(120). A PTT(Push To Talk) server(40) transmits a 200 OK message to the UA(10)(125). The PTT server(40) carries out an authentication procedure for confirming whether the UA(10) can receive a service. If the authentication procedure is completed, the PTT server(40) changes a subscriber state of the UA(10) into an online state, and transmits a notify message to the UA(10)(130). The UA(10) transmits a response message to the PTT server(40)(135).
