<p>The gauge has an internal and an external concentric tubes (14,12) made of an insulating material. An internal face of external tube includes two longitudinal bands (16a,16b) that occupy a same angular sector. An external face of the internal tube includes two conducting bands facing the electrode bands of the external tube. Each pair of bands constitutes a capacitor and a dielectric between the bands is constituted by air. An independent claim is also included for a system for measuring the quantity of fuel in a reservoir, comprising a gauge measuring the level of fuel in the reservoir.</p> |
