<p>A high energy battery with several single cells has these in the form of flat blocks assembled side by side. Along both wide sides of the battery assembly (17,18) is a heat exchanger medium. Two battery layers are stacked like a sandwich with the medium (16) between them. Two sets of stacks adjoin end to end. There is a window at each end (20) with a break-out panel.</p> |
