PURPOSE: A method for encrypting a USB(Universal Serial Bus) storage device of a mobile communication terminal is provided to protect private data and softwares by encrypting a particular USB storage device of a corresponding terminal. CONSTITUTION: An encryption process is performed by using a plug of a qualcode of a mobile communication terminal and a descriptor of a USB control unit. A corresponding device is reported as a unique device by performing an authentication procedure in an enumeration process. The enumeration process includes a process for obtaining a device descriptor, setting an address, and the device descriptor. The mobile communication terminal performs an authentication process for the mobile communication terminal and stores a key value of a unique storage unit by using a system software of the mobile communication terminal.
