PURPOSE: A stick for whitening tooth surfaces containing tooth whitening substance in a solid stick which is in the form of O/W, W/O, W/O/W and O/W/O is provided. It can be selectively applied to a desired tooth without falling down during coating and foreign body sensation. CONSTITUTION: The stick for whitening tooth surfaces comprises: a tooth whitening substance selected from peroxides, a chlorine-based bleaching agent, a polyphosphate, vitamin E, enzyme and sodium bicarbonate; and titanium dioxide, hydroxy apatite, titanated mica or pigments of various colors. The stick has a hardness of 40 to 150 and is made using an emulsion system. The peroxides are selected from hydrogen peroxide, urea peroxide, sodium carbonate peroxide, sodium perborate, calcium peroxide and sodium pyrophosphate peroxide. The emulsion system is O/W, W/O, W/O/W and O/W/O.
