GRADIENT COIL INCLUDING INNER CONDUCTOR LEAD DISPOSED OUTSIDE OF SUPPORT PLATE, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING GRADIENT COIL FOR MAGNETIC RESONANCE TOMOGRAPHY SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A gradient coil and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to achieve improved structure of gradient magnetic field, and obtain a non-stop coil by eliminating the necessity of soldering an inner connector. CONSTITUTION: A gradient coil comprises a spiral coil(2) disposed on a first plane; and an inner conductor lead(X) and an outer conductor lead of the coil. The inner conductor lead is disposed on a second plane spaced apart from the first plane. The coil is a gradient coil for use in a magnetic resonance tomography, and formed of a single unit electrical conductor which is not stopped by a conductor lead thereof. The inner conductor lead is disposed outside of a support plate.
