MOVING PICTURE E-MAIL SYSTEM USING PICTURE PHONE AND PROVIDING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A moving picture e-mail system using a picture phone and its providing method are provided to allow a user to transmit a moving picture e-mail only with an e-mail address and a mobile phone number. CONSTITUTION: H.323/SIP picture phones(10a,10b) are connected to a video e-mail server(50), input text comprised of characters or numbers, record a video message, and support H.323 and SIP protocols. The video e-mail server(50) is connected through an H.323/SIP picture phone packet data network, transmits/receives a picture and voice stream, and stores the video message which is recorded through the H.323/SIP picture phone. When the H.323/SIP picture phone requests the transmission of the video message, the video e-mail server(50) converts the video message into a video file and transmits it to an e-mail address of a receiver. A PC(30) is connected to the video e-mail server(50) through the Internet and receives the video e-mail.
