PURPOSE: A method for controlling a keyboard input of a composite video product is provided to prevent a computer keyboard from inputting a key in other mode except a monitor mode, thereby safely protecting data by automatically cutting off a key input signal in the other mode. CONSTITUTION: A CPU monitors whether a key input is generated from a mouse and a keyboard(S300). If so, the CPU transmits an output mode request signal of a monitor to a monitor controller(S310). The CPU checks whether a monitor mode is received from the monitor controller(S320). If so, the CPU decides whether the monitor mode is a PC mode(S330). If so, the CPU performs an inputted key command(S340). If the monitor mode is not the PC mode, the CPU decides that the monitor is in a TV receiving mode, and outputs a message informing a user of the TV receiving mode(S350). The CPU nullifies the key input(S360). |
