The particulate is taken from the bottom of a hopper and dosed into a pneumatic transport duct. The duct (9) feeds the material into a flat profile chamber from which a number of outlets spaced around the edge of the circular chamber. A movable baffle (10) isolates a selected number of outlets. The baffle is inserted into the chamber and effectively divides the chamber into an outlet section (13) and a blocked section (12). The setting of the baffle does not affect the distribution pattern to the remaining outlets. The pneumatic feed into the chamber is directed at the top cover to evenly distribute the flow.
