METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR GENERATING RING-BACK TONE IN WHICH VOICE PROVIDING USER INFORMATION IS MIXED WITH BACKGROUND MUSIC

PURPOSE: A method and system for generating a ring-back tone in which the voice providing user information is mixed with background music are provided to allow a caller to accurately recognize whom the caller is calling by listening to user information of a receiver. CONSTITUTION: A PC(10) or a PDA(11) is connected to a wired/wireless Internet network(100). A Web server(20) and a WAP server(30) provide a Web page related to inputting the user information in a character form and selection of background music and receive user information and background music through the Web page. A converting server(40) converts the user information into voice data and mixes the voice data with the background music to generate ring-back tone data. A ring-back tone managing and transmitting server(50) receives the ring-back tone data, manages it, and transmits it when a mobile terminal pages a call. A ring-back tone database(60) stores the ring-back tone data. A mobile phone switching network(200) transmits the ring-back tone to a mobile terminal(300).
