PURPOSE: Provided is a material supply system which is used in the system for applying or charging a liquid material such as a sealant, grease, an adhesive, etc. on the part of automobiles, to prevent the shortening of lifetime of an open/close valve and to simplify the preparing process of the material supply system. CONSTITUTION: The material supply system comprises a supply device(1) which absorbs the material stored in a reservoir(6) and supplies it in high pressure state; a discharge device which supplies quantitatively to work (part of automobiles); a supply line(S) where a pressure reducing valve(3) and an open/close valve(4) connecting the supply hole of the supply device and the inhalation hole of the discharge device are set; a pressure sensor which detects the pressure near the inhalation hole of the discharge device; and a control means which closes the open/close valve when the pressure exceeds the set limit and opens the valve when the pressure is below the set limit based on the pressure signal from the pressure sensor, wherein an accumulator(5) is set in the supply line to inhibit the pressure near the inhalation hole of the discharge device from exceeding or being below a set limit for a short time under the condition that the pressure reducing ratio of the pressure reducing valve is set to be lower than the pressure for flowing the entire amount in the operation of the discharge device.
