PURPOSE: Non-woven fabric is characterized by having antibacterial property, containing an antibacterial material comprised of antibacterial standard substance, water and an inorganic binder and not being harmful to the human body. The non-woven fabric is capable of being produced in commercial quantity. CONSTITUTION: Non-woven fabric having antibacterial property is obtained by the steps of: scattering grey yarn over a screen to form random web; capturing the random web; spraying the random web with an adhesive to fix the grey yarn; preparing an antibacterial material comprised of 5-10% of zinc oxide, 10-20% of calcium oxide, 10-15% of magnesium hydroxide, 60-70% of water and 3-7% of an inorganic binder; spraying the web with the antibacterial material; drying the non-woven fabric; and then cutting the non-woven fabric.
