OPTICAL DISK DRIVE

PURPOSE: An optical disk drive is provided to separate a structure of fixing a disk from a spindle motor for rotating the disk, and to install the separated disk on a tray, thereby mounting various types of disks. CONSTITUTION: A body(100) consists of a spindle motor(131) for rotating a disk(90), an optical pickup(132) for recording and/or reproducing information by accessing the disk(90), and a loading portion(140). The spindle motor(131) and the optical pickup(132) are assembled into a deck(130), being installed on a frame(120). The loading portion(140) is disposed on the frame(120). A tray(110) is installed on the body(100). Rails(121) for guiding the sliding of the tray(110) are located on both edges of the frame(120). The rails(121) are protruded in rib shape from a bottom surface of the frame(120).
