ENDURANCE TEST OF STRUCTURES USING EFFECT OF VIBRATING ROTATOR

PURPOSE: An endurance test of structures using the effect of a vibrating rotator is provided to prevent loss of lives and physical damage from occurring by measuring anti-fatigue of a bridge and estimating the remaining life span of the bridge and is provided to improve reliability of the endurance test of the bridge by using a vibration phenomenon of an eccentric member. CONSTITUTION: An eccentric member is installed at a structure. Oscillating power, which is generated in up and down directions when the eccentric member is operated, periodically exerts on a structure such that the oscillating power is identical to that generated when load of vehicles exerts on the structure. A deformity occurring with respect to the structure is observed and measured. Fatigue of the structure is calculated on the basis of the measured data and the remaining life span is determined.
