PURPOSE: A health board is provided to take proper exercise of upper and lower bodies for people of all ages and both sexes by continuously moving a handle back and forth with the upper body and arms in riding on the health board. CONSTITUTION: A health board comprises a frame(10) used as a footboard; a driving shaft(20) turned horizontally and installed in the front of the frame to support a front wheel; a brake shoe elastically mounted in the rear part of the frame and contacted to a rear wheel for braking; a support pipe(60) installed coaxially to the driving shaft protruded in the frame and turned horizontally; a handle shaft(70) inserted to the support pipe, and moved back and forth around a hinge pin(80) in operating a handle(71) back and forth; a ratchet wheel(90) attached to the side of the front wheel and rotated therewith; a ratchet(110) mounted in a support part(21) of the driving shaft with a spring and elastically contacted to the ratchet wheel to control direction of rotation of the front wheel; and a wire connected to the ratchet wheel and the lower part of the handle shaft and extended or contracted in moving the handle shaft back and forth to apply rotational force to the front wheel through the ratchet wheel.
