PURPOSE: A cyclone dust collector for a vacuum cleaner is provided to improve cleaning efficiency by automatically removing dust from a rotary filter. CONSTITUTION: A cyclone dust collector for a vacuum cleaner is composed of a cyclone body(50) having air inlet(55) and outlet(57) and fixed to the top of a dust collecting chamber, a dust collecting case(60) detachably installed at the lower part of the cyclone body and collecting dust separated by the cyclone body, a filter assembly(70) installed at the lower part of the cyclone body, and a duster member. The filter assembly includes a rotary filter for preventing the back flow of dust, a pipe member, a cover, and a shaft for supporting the rotary filter. The duster member removes dust from the rotary filter automatically.
