CONTINUOUS NONFERROUS METAL CASTING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A continuous nonferrous metal casting apparatus is provided to prevent defective products by moving downward molds put on lower conveyor belt, maximize cooling effect by circulating cooling water to a bottom part of the molds and dipping a part of the mold bottom part into water and produce good quality products by controlling cooling time per types of products. CONSTITUTION: The continuous nonferrous metal casting apparatus comprises a distributor(10) connected to runner connected to furnace; a mold(20) for containing the molten metal solution by receiving molten metal solution discharged from the distributor; an upper conveyor(30) for transferring the mold; a cooling unit which is positioned under the upper conveyor, and in which cooling time is controlled by containing cooling water circulated, thereby dipping a bottom part of the mold into cooling water and controlling temperature and quantity of cooling water, thereby selectively rapidly cooling or slowly cooling the molten metal solution contained in the mold, and a ventilator(70) for discharging steam generated is positioned in an upper part of the upper conveyor; a discharge sprocket(50) for discharging a metallic formed body received by reversing a mold cooled by the cooling unit so that the mold is turned upside down; a lower conveyor(60) positioned under the upper conveyor to transfer the mold turned upside down by the discharge sprocket to the distributor; and a speed change motor for controlling speed of the conveyors.
