SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DRIVING TOUCH PANEL

PURPOSE: A touch panel driving system and method is provided to actively drive a touch panel when a resolution of a corresponding display is changed or a position of a display screen is changed. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a panel signal generator(234) and a tracking precision controller(236). The panel signal generator(234) controls a panel signal output from the panel and outputs a controlled panel signal by considering a changed screen resolution or a changed screen position. The tracking precision controller(236) controls a tracking precision on the touch panel by considering the changed screen resolution if the resolution is changed or a changed screen position is notified.
