SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CHANGING RING SIGNAL OF PHONE

PURPOSE: A system and method for changing a ring signal of a phone are provided to allow a user to select a desired ring signal upon receiving various ring signals through the Internet or a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) and change a ring signal of a phone. CONSTITUTION: A ring signal providing server(35) provides plural ring data through a communication network. A user computer(30) connected to the communication network receives the ring data from the ring signal providing server(35). A ring signal changing adapter(20) connected between a phone line and a user phone(10), receives the ring data from the user computer(30), and outputs a pre-set ring signal when a destination signal is inputted from the phone line.
