PURPOSE: An intelligent line switch is provided to easily carry out on/off operation of electrical device without a complicated operation including holding, pressing and releasing operation. CONSTITUTION: An intelligent line switch(3) comprises a shell, and a controller accommodated in the shell. The controller includes an induction circuit having a sensor(31) for sensing access or touch of an object. The controller is connected to an end of a power cord(4). The power cord is connected to a load through the controller. The controller controls on/off operation of the load through a single operation when a hand of an operator gets closer to or touches the sensor.
