PURPOSE: Provided is a chemical for treating liquid waste such as waste organic solvents so as to recycle or completely decompose the liquid waste. CONSTITUTION: The chemical is consisted of calcium hypochlorite (Ca(ClO)2), coagulants and calcium carbide with a ratio of 50-70:20-40:5-15 in volume percentage (%), wherein the chemical separates the liquid waste into organic solvent components and water by making surfactant defunct.
