AIR CONDITIONER FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE: An air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to improve the drain efficiency of condensate condensed in an evaporator and to increase heat-exchanging efficiency of the evaporator by reducing the flow resistance of the air. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner for a vehicle is composed of an air passage(20) formed in an air conditioner case(10) to flow the air blown off from a blower unit and an evaporator(30) and a heater core(40) arranged in the air passage in order. The evaporator gradually inclines upward from the front end positioned at the upside of the air passing through the air passage to the rear end positioned at the lower side of the air. A drain hole(11) for discharging the condensate condensed in the evaporator out of the air conditioner case is formed on the bottom wall of the case right under the front end of the evaporator.
