FIELD: polymer production. ^ SUBSTANCE: petroleum-polymer resin is obtained by polymerization of unsaturated compounds of fraction of liquid products produced in pyrolysis of straight-run gasolines with boiling range 130-190 in presence of aluminum trichloride as catalyst. Catalyst is deactivated first with an aliphatic alcohol added in stoichiometric amount to catalyst and then with epichlorohydrin in stoichiometric amount to summary amount of chlorine atoms in catalytic system. ^ EFFECT: improved ecologic parameters of process: decreased volume of waste water and slimes in neutralization stage. ^ 1 tbl
