FIELD: medicinal equipment for curing of developing forms of child's and teenager's curvature of spine. ^ SUBSTANCE: jacket has chest and pelvis sections. Pelvis section of jacket is made in the form of rigid-elastic polymeric perforated pelvic sleeve covered with natural leather. Front leather flaps of sleeve are bound by cord. Pelvic section is pivotally connected with chest section, whose rear carcass part is made from aluminum splints glued around with leather. Front chest and springy side correcting members are fixed to splints, with shape of springy side correcting member depending on length of scoliotic arc and location thereof defining level of arrangement of side correcting member on spine splint. Side member is made from aluminum concave plate covered at its inner side with soft layers and leather and is attached to spine splint by means of two parallel springy metal plates rigidly connected with their one end to side member and with their other end to spine splint. Front part of chest section of jacket is made in the form of textile flaps whose edges are framed with cord. Pivot hinges are located between chest and pelvic sections of jacket: suprapelvic side pivot hinge arranged along mid axillary line at side adjoining concave surface of scoliotic curvature of spine is secured by fastening plate with the help of rivets with pelvic sleeve and axillary splint of jacket chest section, and pivot hinge arranged along mid rear line is secured by means of fastening plate and rivets with upper rear part of pelvic sleeve and by means of connecting plate with lower chest splint of rear chest section. ^ EFFECT: maximally possible correction of scoliotic curvature and reliable maintaining of correction achieved by dosed forced action upon spine in required directions while keeping motion freedom of spine in sagittal plane. ^ 4 dwg |
