Pressure-fed vacuum swimming pool cleaning robot and method

An automatic swimming pool cleaning robot, comprising a body (1), a suction head (2) an unstable valve (3), a suction pipe (4) whereof an upper end (42) is subjected to a depression which activates the unstable valve (3) and which subsequently actuates said robot. The inventive robot comprises a recuperating filter (6) connected to the upper end (42) of the pipe (4), and a Venturi injector (5) installed in the pipe and constituting itself a vacuum source. The inventive robot combines the advantages of vacuum-fed robots and pressure-fed robots.
