The sensor has an access unit to access flow of data having packets transmitted along a path formed by a set of equipment of a telecommunication network. A measurement unit performs measurements related to information of configuration base (BC). A determination unit determines whether the transmitted packets form a signaling message and signaling unit (SS) determines the information about the configuration from the message. An independent claim is also included for a telecommunication network.
