The holder has a tubular unit (2) extending with respect to a longitudinal axis (X) between two ends (3, 4). The unit (2) has an internal radial flange (14) at proximity of the end (4) to form a longitudinal support for cartridges (5a, 5b). A socket (16) presenting an internal radial flange (18) is screwed in the unit (2) to longitudinally compress the cartridges between the flanges. An independent claim is also included for a fountain pen comprising an ink cartridge holder.
