The device a security rod (12) moved by lateral translation on a support (10), between positions of un-blocking and blocking of a hatch (6). The security rod is maintained in the un-blocking position by a cable (9) that exerts traction to block the rod on the support. The rod is coupled to a spring (13) that displaces rod to blocking position towards a door frame, in case of a release of cable, for blocking the hatch. An independent claim is also included for a door including the security device.
