Boot door (112) is controlled using two separate lateral mechanisms (115), each mechanism including articulated system (114), having first end attached to boot door, and pneumatic actuator (120) having first end attached to body shell of vehicle. Each mechanism also includes intermediate frame (116) which support second ends of articulated system and pneumatic actuator. Boot door is therefore moved from closed position to first standard position allowing rear access to boot to place luggage, and from closed position to second position allowing front access to boot for storing retractable roof.
