PURPOSE: A recording control method of an optical disk is provided to record dummy data around a position where a recording process stops owing to an error, and to process a corresponding track as an error track, thereby realizing a normal servo operation during a reproducing process. CONSTITUTION: A system detects whether an error is generated by shock during a recording process(S202). If so, the system estimates a position where the recording process stops owing to the error(S204). The system obtains new position information by delaying from the recording-stopping position, and records dummy data during a predetermined time(S206). The system sets from a start position of a recording-stopping track up to a position where the recording of the dummy data stops to one track, and records track information in a PMA(Program Management Area)(S208). If a disk close command is generated, the system completes a corresponding session, and records TOC(Table Of Contents) information in a lead-in area(S210).
