FIELD: manufacture of gauze used in melioration and road building. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes frame, wire feeding mechanism, pulling drum and units for twisting wires. Each unit for twisting wires includes pinion having in lower part hole for passing wire and slit in upper part. Said slit is arranged in recess between teeth of pinion. Slit base and hole are spaced by the same distance from pinion center. Apparatus is provided with grips for displacing wires onto adjacent pinions. Spacing between said grips is equal to spacing between pinions. ^ EFFECT: enhanced strength, increased useful life period of simplified-design apparatus. ^ 6 dwg |
