Disclosed is a transparent material for shielding undesired electromagnetic wave, in which black mesh region is formed in a hydrophilic transparent resin layer on a transparent substrate. The present invention thus provides a transparent material for shielding undesired electromagnetic wave, which comprises: (a) a transparent substrate (b) a hydrophilic transparent resin layer formed on the transparent substrate (a), which contains in certain areas metal particles finely dispersed therein to form a black region and in the other area does not contain metal particles to form a transparent region, and a production thereof.
