PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonstop, high-speed loop railroad system with an escort shuttle, capable of establishing an efficient use of a loop line in an urban district and enabling the passenger to reach the destination station in a short time. SOLUTION: The system includes a main loop line 1 and an escort loop line 2 and works with a circulating passenger car 3 to run on the main loop line 1 in the nonstop condition and an escort passenger car 5 on which passengers get on or get off therefrom on the line 2, whereby the circulating passenger car 3 and the escort passenger car 5 are allowed to run in parallel in the specified division between stations 4 along the loop line by controlling the start and stop of the escort passenger car 5 and its acceleration upon receiving the running information to give the running condition of the circulating passenger car 3, and also the movement of the passengers who wish movement is made practicable by opening the door upon coupling together the door positions of the two sorts of cars. Then the door is closed and the cars are uncoupled, and the escort passenger car 5 is decelerated bit by bit and stopped at the next station 4, where the passengers get on or off.
