PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag for a front passenger seat whose rear surface part can be almost flat without using a tether belt. SOLUTION: This air bag 1 is integrally formed by a lower side foundation cloth 2 in which wide and substantially triangular side surface lower half parts 6 are integrally formed by an injected gas introducing part 7 side at both left and right edges of a lower surface part 5 provided with the injected gas introducing part 7 from an inflator, an upper side foundation cloth 3 in which wide and substantially triangular side surface upper half parts 10 are integrally formed by a side facing to the injected gas introducing part 7 at both left and right edges of an upper surface part 9, and a front surface foundation cloth 4 made in almost the same width as that of the upper surface part 9 of the upper side foundation cloth 3 at a front end of the lower side foundation cloth 2 or the upper side foundation cloth 3.
