PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide control unit for a motor-driven power steering device controllable with reliability in connecting at least a motor driving circuit and a controller, with a low occurrence rate of defect in the connection work (soldering work) and installable in small space with a different shape. SOLUTION: A metal driving substrate 31 mounting a motor driving circuit 12 thereon and connected to an aluminum case 35 (radiation member), and a control substrate 32 mounting a control circuit 13 thereon are placed orthogonally to each other, and the substrate 31 forms thereon a driving substrate terminal 31a soldering-connectable to the substrate 32 orthogonally manner, by which an electric connection between at least the circuit 12 and the control circuit 13 is implemented while the substrate 31 and the substrate 32 are mounted onto each other orthogonally manner without mounting of the aluminum case 35.
