PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use adhesive for TAB copper wiring also in the adhesive/protective layer of a TAB/head base substrate. SOLUTION: The ink jet print head comprises a substrate having an energy generating element, a head base substrate arranged with that substrate, and an electric wiring member (TAB) having electric wiring for electrically joining the energy generating element bonded to the head base substrate and an external electrode and ejects ink in the vertical direction of the substrate wherein the adhesive for bonding the electric wiring member to the head base substrate is also used as the protective layer of the electric wiring member.
