PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an infrared imaging apparatus free from ghost which is generated because an infrared ray generated from foreign matters on an optical component arranged on an infrared imaging apparatus side from a filter is reflected by the filter and condensed on the infrared imaging apparatus, in the apparatus having the filter for limiting wavelength and light intensity in an infrared optical system. SOLUTION: The infrared imaging apparatus is constituted of a filter of curved profile for limiting wavelength and light intensity of light, infrared optical system including the filter of the curved profile, and an infrared ray detector, thereby preventing the infrared ray reflected by a filter surface from condensing on the infrared ray detector.
