There is provided a session start method to be applied to a computer system having GUI. The method includes: a step (S103) for specifying an icon image corresponding to each user; steps (S104,l S105) for judging whether UID and a password required for log-in are embedded in the icon image specified and extracting the UID and the password according to an algorithm uniquely corresponding to a user; a step (S107) for inputting the extracted start information during the log-in processing; and steps (S108, S109) for judging whether the input start information is appropriate for the log-in condition and establishing the log-in processing.
